Notes: In near perfect condition if it wasn't for the rip on the left hand pocket, can easily be fixed with a patch from inside the pocket. 

Tommy Hilfiger's career in the fashion industry started in 1968 when co founded a clothing and record store name the People's Place in Upstate NY. Using $150 he saved up working on a petrol station, he over saw the company and soon enough had 10 chain stores. In 1977 People's Place filed for bankruptcy. In 1979 he moves to NY (the home of the hustler) to pursue his fashion career working on various brands, one being Jodache Jeans. 

 In the early 1980's Tommy met Mohan Murjani, who backed him on his first collection of men's clothing in 1985. The new clothing line made waves in the in the fashion scene with its Preppy look (which was popular back then) including a billboard in Times Square. The brand left Murjani international in 1989 and with some help of some former Ralph Lauren Executives Tommy Hilfiger was full steam ahead into the male sportswear industry. 

Tommy Hilfiger is known for its classic white blue and red flag logo which many brands have been influenced by ever since. Tommy also had a line of Fragrances, it was actually the first cologne i ever purchased growing up late 90's early 00's. Tommy Hilfiger has feature in many Hip Hop Artists film clips,
